Mother Nature rarely produces the exact same seed size year in and year out in a seed-corn crop. This reality, combined with the investments being made today in precision-planting systems, underscores the need to fine-tune planters to deliver the best singulation and uniformity possible. This is why our research and agronomy departments launched the Maizex SeedRight initiative to help growers achieve their best possible results and profitability. Our researchers test our hybrids and seed sizes to develop corn planter setting recommendations for air pressure and brush settings across a range of planter types, with the goal of achieving the best possible singulation for the seed grade you are planting. The recommendations for our current line-up of hybrids and seed sizes are now available to view, download, or print by following this link.
